(no subject)

1) Total number of films you own on DVD/video: Ack. Erm. Easily into 3 figures now. I have about 50 dvds alone. Minimum. Having all seven seasons of ST: Voyager on video (those 2 ep vids they released) boosts the tally effortlessly.

2) The last film I bought: Bought four because it's rare I can confine my DVD buying to just one. I am weak. Brubaker, Practical Magic, The Natural and The Electric Horseman

3) The last film I watched: The Electric Horseman at home. Constantine at the cinema

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:

28 Days - my comfort movie :)
Sleepless in Seattle - my other comfort movie :D
The Thomas Crown Affair (the Brosnan/Russo remake)
Sanjuro
Empire Records - my third comfort movie :)

Finally, tag five people to do this meme:

Hmm... I'm sure I just commented but nothing has appeared...

I did it earlier today, to that's that sorted. And clearly you are weaker than you think! Brubaker, Practical Magic, The Natural and The Electric Horseman is four films not three... The first three I like (PM I love), don't think I know the last one.

Ack, clearly I was in denial about my DVD buying habits :) Edited and corrected.

The Electric Horseman I think you would love, given we have similar tastes in comfort movies :) Charming film with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda, about a washed up rodeo star who is reduced to advertising breakfast cereal. Fonda plays a journalist. I can't summarise the plot more than that without giving too much away but it's a GREAT film. Nothing complicated, pretty light, but well acted and fun :)

I did briefly wonder whether The Natural and the Electric Horseman was some bizarre sequel to The Natural, then I decided you'd probably just miscounted.
