How to Tell When A Mitchy Has An Evil Mother of a Cold
1. She sleeps. I don't mean the random "I got to bed at 6am, had four hours sleep and now I need a nap" sleep that most of you are familiar with. I mean "I have to go and lie down and sleep for 12 hours straight now".
2. She's not hungry. At all. All I've eaten in the last 36 hours is some toast.
3. She's too groggy to read
4. She should be job hunting, has bills to pay and yet, strangely, can't work up the energy to give a damn.
Happily, I'm now well on the mend and the wracking cough I've acquired is, at least, on the wane. I cancelled the asthma clinic again, on the grounds that not being able to puff without coughing would create a really poor baseline reading on how my asthma is being controlled :P
If I improve as much again over night, hopefully the job search can resume tomorrow. Given that my AA membership AND my car insurance are due at the end of the month, I'd bloody well better be improved :P
*wanders off, now vaguely interested in the idea of eating*
