I may not have time to do these before I get back but as I've responded to this in two other journals, I should post it here like a good little meme sheep :)

Mmm. Good question. A lot of working screenwriters, actors and directors cite a single film as the inspiration for them to take up the life they chose ("…and that was when I decided I wanted to make films with my life") but I can't name any one film that inspired me in that way. I always had a love/obsession with fiction, though, writing stories and comic books from a very young age. I have a pretty visual imagination, so I guess it was only natural that films should capture me in the way they do.
