Heating update
Well the new radiators are in and they look very shiny. They work too!
However, there is a downside. I don't know if it's the boiler being crap or there's something fundamentally wrong somewhere but it refuses to stay switched on and keeps turning itself off. Also, not all the radiators are getting hot, there's the same problem of the one in the hall being colder than all the others and it's taking a very long time for the radiator in the lounge and my room to get warm.
So I think John the Happy Maintenance Chappie will have to be called tomorrow and further investigations conducted.
Despite this, it IS a treat to have working radiators again and I can say goodbye to plastic bowls, under leaky rust-riddled radiators, that have to emptied twice a day :D Yay!!
