Nearly forgot to answer these questions from
kemintiri - sorry hon!
What's your fondest childhood memory? Oooh, tough question. I was fortunate to have a happy childhood, mostly (school was sucky but everything else was ok). I think it would have to be an amalgamated memory. We used to have a boat - nothing big, let me hasten to add, tiny cabin that could sleep 2 people, just about. We used to take it on the River Ouse, staying at a camping ground. There was a big crowd of like minded enthusiasts, friends and relatives both. It was pretty traditional for us to spend Witsun or Easter holidays there and we had some good times. I remember the last night bonfires, where we'd cook sausages stuck onto sticks, and toast bread. It was just great :)
2) What's your youngest, most vivid memory, and why do you think it stands out so much?
Being rocked in a blanket cradle by my Mum while she sang to me. I couldn't have been more than 2, probably younger. I suspect it stands out because it IS such an early memory, but I couldn't tell you why I remember it so clearly.
3) To you, who/what's the ideal person?
For what? :) Friend? Lover? Husband? Wife? :) Or just in general? If we're talking ideals to live by, then I guess someone whose integrity is without question, who is neither mean or cruel and who has the capacity to give as much or more love than they receive.
4) If you could only keep one hobby to entertain you for the rest of eternity, what would it be and why?
Ack!! Books, computer, computer or books. Waaah! If I had to choose, I guess I'd stick with reading and keep my books. Reading just takes you so many different places and you can read anywhere, even in the bath. You don't need a power source (beyond light) and it's a lot lighter to carry :)
5) You get a magic bean, that would allow you do do any one thing, besides wishing for more wishes. What would you do?
Oh gawd. Well, it would be pretty to think I'd wish for world peace or cure cancer or something. Actually curing cancer or AIDS would be darn tempting. I suspect however I'm too selfish and would wish for the means to be independently wealthy. I would then donate a lot to medical research to appease my conscience :P
