Woo HOOOOOO!! And other exclamations.
I got my tax rebate!!!
*dances with glee*
Just over £700!!!
Yeeee-haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!!!
There will be pizza this weekend, oh yes!
Yes, indeedy, you read that right, a real honest-to-god job interview :) Planning and purchasing for a company in Hatfield - oddly enough, the place where my friend Troo works. I didn't know this until the other day, I wasn't given the company name when my agency first asked if I wanted to be put forward for the post. I met Abby at the agency today to get the gen about the post and some tips for the interview. It sounds a very involved job, very challenging. Lazy!Mitchy is thinking possibly too challenging, considering the doubtless low salary. Smart!Mitchy is thinking "Woo, a job that might actually strain my brain!" Plus all the benefits a permanent job would bring like, you know, the permanency :P
But that's something I can consider after the interview and if they offer me the job! It's by no means a done deal, because I don't have a purchasing or planning background. On the other hand, they know that and called me for an interview anyway, so I must have something they like. So we shall see.
Ick. Clothes shopping. Lordy, I hate clothes shopping *shudders* But it is for a good cause :)
And tax rebate! Woo hoo!!
I must have gone psychic when I went shopping last night because I had this urge to buy cider. Clearly I knew I was going to be celebrating something. I decided that it was time to find a good quality cider to drink, to supplement the chemical joy that is Woodpecker or Strongbow, my ciders of choice. So I've purchased five bottles of Thatchers, each brewed from a different type of apple, and there will be a great cider tasting this weekend. Starting tonight. I will post reviews :)
It should be a good weekend *waltzes off happily*

How sweet is hard cider? If I prefer dry drinks, what kind should I try.

Hints in purchasing - you need to have a little stock on hand as possible while being able to meet 99% of needs instantly. As these are pretty much mutually exclusive, it's quite a challenge.
Planning - you need to know how things move through the company, and then watch for patterns, good and bad, so that you can boost one and reduce the other.
Cider - yes, please!
Well done you!

I'll try and remember this when I go shopping :)

Clothes shopping Uuuuuuh
Cider tasting......not sure. The nearest to a decent cider I ever tasted was Merrydowns and Symonds Yat, and they were only OK. I'll wait for the reviews.
Fingers and toes crossed for your interview!
