My LJ entries are like buses - none for ages then 4 arrive all at once! Sorry for the spam :P
Anyway, in further work news, we did the draw for our Sekrit Santa today. We're having an office Christmas meal on 8th December and the idea is presents will be opened at the meal. So everyone's drawn a name out of the hat (actually, an old envelope, but that doesn't sound the same) and the idea is you get a gift costing no more than £10. No-one will know who their Santa is and it relieves everyone of having to get gifts for lots of people, which, let's face it, no-one can afford. It also removes the clique element of people only buying gifts for their particular office friends. This way, everyone gets something and there's no hassle :)
I had to exchange my first pick, as it was someone I didn't know at all, but the second pick got QuietRed, one of the nicest ladies in the office, so I was happy to have got that one. And due to judicious of reading slips of paper at a distance, I actually know who my Santa is and it's someone I know and like so yay :)
In further, further news, you may recall I posted that we were due to have a new Office Manager, who started last week? He's left. Lasted 2 days, went off sick and then didn't come back. He's gone back to his old job. Wow, I had no idea our office was so scary :P
OK, I'll stop spamming my LJ now :) *scampers off to RP*
