Eulogy for a whale

I'm so upset the whale didn't make it back to the ocean. I suppose we'll never know if he died or if his condition got to a point where the vet decided to euthanise him, but it's a moot point.

For a brief time, however, he swam into our world and he brought a little magic to the River Thames. We should be grateful for that.

RIP whale, may the oceans where you now swim be deep.
