It was a belated birthday present from Annie in Chicago - a cd, a cute lil' teddy bear and chocolate. I have good friends :)
Yesterday was deadly dull at work but I consoled myself with the thought that I was taping the rugby and would be able to watch England stuffing the Italians when I got home.
I got home. Checked video. Bloody satellite signal had frozen so I had one picture of some studio talking head for 2 solid hours. Waaaah!
I'd complain to Sky but it does no good. It'll be a "glitch" or something that they can't fix. They never can. *growls*
Oh well.
Today was an uneventful day at work, work wise at least. Gossip wise it was great! Apparently Dennie (newest sales weasel) invited herself to Gary's (established sales weasel) wedding reception Saturday night and behaved so badly, that Lisa (sales weasel and Gary's sister) came in today fuming. Dennie had helped herself to booze that belonged to the in laws table, danced so disgustingly that Lisa was offended (which takes doing), went up to Lisa's Mum and told her that she (Lisa's Mum) should be on Lisa's back about "the cunt of a boyfriend" Lisa's with and her boyfriend played so roughly with the kids that they ran away frightened. Her behaviour was so bad, that Robert the Manager actually said something to Dennie at the do, which may be why she left early but is certainly the reason she was a tad subdued at work yesterday.
Could be interesting tomorrow when both Lisa and Dennie are in the store. Could be even MORE interesting when Gary comes back from his honeymoon as he was deeply unimpressed. Just hope Lisa remembers she has the high ground and doesn't lower herself to Dennie's level. Would be nice if Dennie apologised off the bat but I'm not willing to put money on it.
