Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

Good grief. I am such a klutz! In a rare display of unco-ordination, not seen since the last time someone had the bright idea of putting the Panto Horse on roller skates, I managed to bash both ankles in the same accident.

All I was doing was trying to get back into my car! *wails*

I somehow lost my balance when I stepped down onto the road between the car and the kerb (I was moving my car to park it a bit closer to aforementioned kerb) and twisted the standing ankle. Before I could say ouch, I smacked the other ankle against the sill of the door, scraping it downwards as I lost my balance. I also smacked my wrist on the edge of the door but didn't notice that until later.

It's not easy hopping in pain when you've hurt both ankles but I gave it a darn good try! It must have been a most amusing sight and anyone who watched and laughed is lucky I didn't see 'em :P

I thought I'd really sprained my ankle, which I've done before and I never want to do again, but it looks like I've gotten away with it. My left ankle, the one that got bashed and scraped, is sore but there's no serious damage. I daresay the bruises tomorrow will be interesting.

In other not-news, work was busy, which was good as it made the day go faster. This evening has brought good RP and funny stuff to read. Passed onto me by the wonderful lithium_doll, go here at ONCE for an hilarious piss take of Prisoner of Azkaban. And remember, I say this having loved the movie :)
