Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

It was seven straight days of hell on Earth but I am finally getting my reward with a long weekend. *curls up into small, squeaking ball of happiness*

Last night thalinoviel and bytepilot saved what was left of my sanity by feeding me tea and pizza, and generally letting me de-stress. There was giggling over an episode of Monkey - it was just the sort of silliness I needed really. Oh yeh, and there was theraputic cats, although Lennie was mean and fanged Thal when she was fussing him.

We got the promised torrential rain late last night and even some lightning but not enough. Bah! If there's going to be a thunderstorm, I want it to be a GOOD one, one where I can stand outside my front door and watch the lightning and the rain and be entertained. Didn't even get a decent amount of thunder with this one last night. Unless it all happened after I crashed out, of course :)

My (second) new copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone arrived today, after I pointedly prodded the person I bought it from via amazon. More squee! I haven't read it for an age and having watched the DVD again the other night it's been a treat to revisit it. Don't know what I'll do when I'm out of books again. Possibly re-read Order of the Phoenix :P

Three whole days....*sighs happily and wanders off to make more tea, thumbing nose at the time*
