If one wishes to lose weight at any time in the future, one might want to make one's task less difficult by curing oneself of the current addiction to apple crumble.....
*sighs* I'm so weeeeak!
On the same topic (weakness, not apple crumble), I was most surprised to get a letter from the Post Office yesterday, saying they were holding a parcel for me due to there being a customs charge. I racked my brain but couldn't think of any parcels that I was waiting for. Why, only that very morning, I'd been idly contemplating my next DVD boxset purchase and pricing up CSI Season 4 and CSI:Miami Season 2 on various sites. I had my Voyager DVDs, I wasn't expecting anything else.
So I trundled down to the PO, paid the customs fee (not too bad, only a fiver), got the parcel and opened it. And blinked. Twice. Seems about a month ago I ordered CSI Season 4 from PlayUSA.com and promptly forgot all about it.
*blushes furiously*
At least I found out before I ordered it for a second time. *coughs*
*heh* One thing I did find amusing. You're supposed to bring id and stuff to the sorting office when collecting parcels. Well I get so much stuff delivered because I order so much on the internet that the guy who's at sorting office counter most afternoons knows me by sight. When I went in, he just beamed at me cheerily over the shoulder of the lady in front of me, spied the yellow notification form and said cheerfully "Got collared by Mr Customs, did you?" Never got asked for ID once. Mind you, you can bet if I ever went without it, that'd be the day I needed it. Still, it was a cheerful encounter that brightened my day :)
