So I got into Cambridge in plenty of time to trek back down the road the Judge Institute of Management (JIMs) is on. Soon found it, it's in the old Addenbrooks Hospital Building, which has been much renovated on the inside and painted and restored outside. Absolutely gorgeous building to walk around, very airy and colourful. I fell in love with it.
However, I suspect I won't be working there. While I think the interview went well and I presented myself well, from what Mary (the head of IT) said, the response to the post has surprised them all and they have a choice of candidates. This informal chat was just to try and whittle the list down and see who they wanted to bring in for the formal interview. I honestly don't think I'll get that far as I am quite sure there must be more qualified/experienced people than me on that list. On the other hand, you never know, so I shall stay positive but won't be totally crushed if I get the thumbs down.
Plus side was I got to see Helen and Julian and they treated me to oooodles of Chinese food. *bloats* It was good to catch up with them, it's been several months since we saw each other. Hopefully, in the New Year, we'll get the Quiz Night going again, which would be cool.
