Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I posted a request before Christmas for an exchange of letters.

Well the first letter arrived!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyy! therealsherbs sent me a lovely missive on rainbow notepaper, which I didn't notice for a week because it was hidden by a batch of leaflets that got shoved through my door. D'oH! But I found it last night and, well, YAY! I've written back now (it was posted earlier). Now, who else can I bully to do this? *peers at flist*

Been a good day today. I may have solved a problem that will occur if I switch to Demon's new broadband package. It doesn't come with a news service but I've tested a new news server successfully so I'm hoping that will solve that problem. Just waiting on a response from the sales department. I got a huge job application form through today, earlier than I expected, so I shall spend a few days carefully filling that in. It's for an admin role in a council office, hence the vast amounts of dead tree. *rolls eyes* Otherwise, it's just been one of those quietly good days. I treasure these, for when I'm back at work and miserable :)
