Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I have broadband at last! Andeverythingissofastnowit'swonderfulhurrah!

Admittedly, I did have some teething troubles with the set up. Mostly because I insisted on adapting my old email/news client to working with it. However, after several phone calls, during which I became on first name terms with Jim at the Demon ADSL Support Desk, it all got sorted.

By 'eck, this high speed lark is fun :) Take this afternoon. I went off to watch the latest batch of Law and Order:Special Victims Unit that Jenni had sent over and left the latest episode of "Without A Trace" downloading. By the time I got back five hours later, it was all done! *squeals with glee*

So Monday was spent sorting out the broadband and growling over the rugby result (I taped the England/France match. I have only one comment: GRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL).

Sunday, I went over to thalinoviel's house for the much awaited Chocolate Cake o'Evil, which more than lived up to the hype. I now have a large slab of it lurking in my fridge - that's dessert for the next week sorted out. Yay!! *snugs her a thalinoviel*

Tomorrow is a busy day. I have an asthma clinic appointment in the morning, a mortgage advisor appointment in the afternoon and Melanie is coming to visit in the evening. I figure I should be able to download at least two more episodes of something, with a bit of luck *sniggers*
