Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I've signed up to mlb.com so that I can watch live baseball over my 'pooter. It'll cost me seven quid for a month and will give me a game a night (minimum) plus the ability to watch archived games (ie. games that are on too late for me to stay up for). I get a surprisingly good connection - yeh, ok, occasionally my bandwidth drops and I get jerky picture syndrome, but it usually clears after a minute or two so it's no big deal. Considering the choice of games I get, it's damn good value for money and I can watch a choice from all the early games available. Hee!

Which is all well and good but I've GOT to engage my willpower. Last night I stubbornly stayed up until 6am watching the L.A. Dodgers and San Diego Padres match (The Padres lost in the 10th innings. Bah.) While it was fun, this will Not Do and I must stoppit. At once. It was a tight old game though, with both pitchers doing a fine job. Heh, except for Lowe in the first innings who threw a couple of loose ones, one of which bounced off the side of the batsman's right knee. The batsman was ok, but it must have been eyewatering at the time. Hell, I winced and rubbed my knee in sympathy.

Anyway, today I've watched the Phillies beat the Rockies and now I'm watching the Red Sox play the Orioles. I will be a good Mitchy and go to bed before dawn *nods*
