The Evil Cheesecake has been tasted by another human victim bean and pronounced most tasty!
thalinoviel agreed to be guinea pig for the Mark 2 Cheesecake, which wasn't quite as successful as the first, in that the cheesecake bit was a bit runny. However, it didn't affect the taste and this was confirmed when
thalinoviel inhaled a couple of slices in a matter of seconds :)
She and
bytepilot also very kindly fed me pizza, which was much appreciated. The cats liked it too. I thought they'd stalk
bytepilot as his pizza had pineapple which I know they're very partial to. However, I was mistaken as Lenny cat promptly parked himself on the arm of the sofa next to me and watched every movement with hawk like intensity. While I was watching him, Tiny Cat sneaked up on my right and was plotting a snatch and swoop when I spotted her. Very effective tag teaming. In the end, they graciously accepted morsels of ham each and left victorious.
We watched a very strange animation called "Rendezvous in Belleville" which, while strange, was very watchable and amusing. It was a French film about a granny who encourages her grandson to take up cycling. It featured all manner of weird things but had some wonderfully deft visual touches. I recommend it.
And now I'm home, full of tea and food and I am contented.
