Blair's in, big surprise, but I am glad to see his majority has been cut down to size. I suppose it's too much to hope it'll get under 60, but a 66 seat majority is going to make it harder for him to be King Tony, which suits me fine. Any bets he'll be ousted before his term is up?

Welwyn Hatfield had a huge swing back to Conservative, which means Junior Health Minister Melanie Johnson won't be going back to Parliament. The Lib Dems didn't do as well here as I thought they would, I really thought they'd done enough to get more seats than that. They didn't even gain anything! Beh. Oh well. Maybe next time.
