Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

So last week I was chatting to kemintiri who mentioned Chili's restaurant. This jogged my memory of their menu and hunger pangs ensued. I don't have one near me, but there's one in Cambridge so I emailed my buddy Melanie with no LJ and we agreed to meet up last night (Wednesday) for oodles of food.

*topples over*

Dear god, I'd forgotten what the portions are like in that place. Foolishly I had a starter, which didn't help - spicy eggrolls, before you ask. Then I followed that up with the steak quesidillia (sp?). *whimpers* No room for dessert!

Melanie surprised me with a gorgeous bead bracelet she's been working on, on and off, for a year. It's in silver and blue and greys, and there's a picture of a wolf howling at the moon. It's GORGEOUS :) I'm very pleased with it *beams like a spotlamp* She's a talented bunny, I hope her business takes off a bit. She's off to a craft fair on Sunday, so I hope that goes well. I must scan the bracelet and put a picture up later today :)

Bah! I've discovered this week that at some point during the first week of April this year, several people I had on my friends list got de-friended. I thought it had been a bit quiet on my flist but I have quite a few people on there who post a lot so that distracted me. I have no idea how this happened - did LJ burp or something??

I've managed to re-add everyone bar one person, whose LJ name I can't track down. Fortunately, he's still updating the original non-LJ journal so at least I can catch up. I will email him and find out if he's still got his LJ and ask him what his username is. Hope I haven't forgotten anybody else. *fret fret*

ETA: Hah! Hah! Remembered the username for missing person and he's been re-added. Geez, it must be nice to have a memory instead of a sieve :P
