Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

Spoke to Zoe at Brook Street today, she was very positive and actually rang me back when she said she would, which makes a nice change from the other agencies. She's sent my details over for a job in Hatfield that would be a 3 month temp gig. Sounds great, so fingers crossed. And if that doesn't pan out, she assured me she'd find me something. She's the first person to really be proactive which is great.

The position with the council that Zoe at Brook Street had her eye on for me has been filled :( But she's got something else she's checking on. It does sound the sort of job that's going to give me a chance to post in customers_suck repeatedly though. Ah well :)

ETA: No luck on the second prospect either but she's making me her priority tomorrow. Every morning they do 10 calls before 10am and I'm going to be the person she's plugging for. She's determined to get me something. It's very encouraging. I'd love to have some good news to tell Aunty Eve when she rings on Sunday, I'm starting to dread hearing the sad "Oh dear, Lesley" when I tell her I still don't have anything. Go Zoe go!
