Quieter day today, although I was still fairly busy. With TwoDirection's help, I shifted the last load of 18 archive boxes up to the loft. Probably only have one more trip to make up there and there won't be 18 boxes worth - hurrah! Course, we'll have to spend a couple of hours in the loft getting all the boxes sorted and in order so that folks will actually stand a fighting chance of finding them if needed, but that's not a particularly urgent job. I'll bully Sarah into that in the next couple of weeks.

I typed up the list of the boxes and contents that were moved, finished shifting the files off my desk into the shelf space the archiving had created and dusted off the work surface where the files had been resting. I was such a tidy lil' baa lamb :)

Also spent today finishing off updating a contact list, which was quite fun, as it's meant ringing and speaking to lots of people I've never spoken to before, all of whom were helpful and polite. This is because they were all fellow council workers, so they understand how tricky it can be to find the right person in the right department to answer a question :)

Got home by 4.30, watched "Ready, Steady, Cook" while I caught up on 'toons, forums and LJ. Then, about 7-ish, I realised I was really tired and went for a nap. Blow me if I didn't crash out for 3 hours! Clearly, all that box shifting has caught up with me. I am still yawing my head off so I suspect I'll be crashing again before not too long. Ahh, Saturday tomorrow. My favourite day :)
