Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I had my usual fat 'n' lazy weekend, during which I did bugger all. Sunday was a bit like Saturday, only with more baseball and less football *grins*

Monday was busy but that was ok, it meant the day went quicker. I was distracted for some of the morning, though, I had one of those dreams that while it wasn't disturbing in anyway, in fact it was a fairly pleasant dream, it was one I couldn't shake easily on waking. I don't have intense dreams very often, but when I do, they really hang around. And no, regrettably the dream didn't feature hot sex with Brad Pitt. Or anyone else. :) That sort of intense dream I don't mind remembering and make no effort to forget *giggles*

Today was pleasant enough, I've finally finished beating up financial returns which I can't make balance and don't understand anyway, and I'm back working on Nursery Education Grant forms. This is more my speed, so the day passed very pleasantly.

Although today has been the day when I totally failed to drink a hot cup of tea, until just now, in fact. Every cup of tea I made today when cool before I could drink it. Stupid phone calls sidetracking me from the important things in life :P

Oh, and something I've been meaning to post about since last week. All our offices at work have shiny notices on the doors listing who works in each office. Last week, they replaced and updated ours and my name is on there! Hee! Of course, this is bitter irony because chances are, I'll be leaving end of May, but hey! Name on the door! Woot!
