My Saturday has gone too quickly. I'd complain but I don't think the Management give refunds :P
Got up early (for me!) and got to work for 9.45am, mildly surprised to see PartyGirl already in. We spent the next 4 and a half hours beating up multicoloured forms, with a 25 minute pause to beat up our Excel spreadsheet which is Misbehaving. It's a weird bug. The spreadsheet records all the NEG claims - number of pupils, number of weeks the nursery is open, how many kids are doing 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 sessions, does its sums according to a formula and works out what we have to pay the nursery. There's a matching section used for checking, so that we can make sure the numbers have been entered correctly. For some reason, in this section, the formula doesn't work if the nursery is open for 10 weeks. We finally figured out it was adding in the total number of pupils but not subtracting them. Why it works for all the other combinations but not 10 weeks though, is a total mystery.
Got out of work at 2.15, with everything that could be done, done, and scampered back just in time to see the end of the Liverpool v. Chelsea match, which Liverpool won *cackles*. Pootled on the 'pooter a bit until I got really sleepy so I went for a nap.
Ooops.
4 hours later, I woke up!
So that was my Saturday. I'm now scoffing Dominos pizza as I have no food in the house. *sighs* Must get out of the house before noon tomorrow and do some shopping!
