I got an email from halcyon_shift today at work, that left me grinning like a loon and bouncing happily ever since. It concerned the funds raised from March's Sweet Charity auction. This is what it said.

The lovely people at RAINN have sent a thank you letter for the donations.

I've been sitting on something beyond all things fantabulous until the letter was out and now we're golden, so here's the awesome: because we donated in April - Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month - our donation has been matched dollar for dollar.

So, in effect, you guys didn't raise $11,160.00, you raised $22,230.00.
