mitchy at 09:38pm on 11/01/2009 under playoffs 2008Well that was a turn up for the books, I didn't think the Eagles would beat the Giants but they did! Excellent game, pretty tight and close until the 4th quarter when the Giants did themselves no favours and the Eagles came up with some very key plays when they needed it. Final score was 23-11.
Now it's time for the Chargers v. Steelers. I confess to being very torn, I like both teams a lot, so I suppose in one sense I can't lose but in another, I can't win! Eh, I'll just hope for a really good game :) Although I'll be really glad if it doesn't go to overtime, I would really like to get to bed before 1am!
(Actually, the perfect result would be one team up by about 30 points by the end of the third quarter - then I could go to bed in relative safety :D)
