Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I am such a greedy piglet. There was a retirement do for a guy I know at work, not someone I know well but someone I've always had good, friendly interactions with. So I duly toddled down after work and discovered that there was a buffet. I'm rather full now *hangs head*

The retirement bash itself was ok, the speeches were funny, although the retiree's went on rather too long. Consequently, I didn't get home until 6.30. *yawns mightily* Really shattered now.

I'm astounded by how many people have suddenly friended me on Facebook. I think I'm afeared. I'm happy to friend people but please, please, please don't ever link back to or hint about this LJ or associate "Mitchy" with my real name. I don't want to have to go friends only :P

*yawwwwwwwns* man, maybe another mug of tea will help. Good TV on tonight though, double helping of Masterchef and then Victorian Farm. *curls up on sofa with a hot water bottle and purrs*
