Gleep

I was sound asleep this morning, but as I rose towards consciousness, I had the faint sense that I'd been asleep far longer than I should. "Gosh," I thought, "the alarm clock must be about to go off any second..zzzzzzzz"

When I next opened my eyes, I was very confused - still no alarm clock. So I looked at my watch...and it was 9.05am!! EEEEEK!

Ever see a mousey break the sound barrier? Pity you weren't there.

Somehow I managed to leave the house at 9.17am and get into work for just gone 9.30am. No, I don't know how I did it, I'm fairly sure I don't want to know.

Now please excuse me, I have to go faceplant into a mug of tea.

I have a funny feeling...

Seeing this article the day after muttering about investigating options for living in the US probably (to quote the immortal Calvin and Hobbes) crosses the line from "coincidence" to "evil omen".

Ahhh Fridays

I have napped like a contented dormouse, I have yummy food to scoff and a shiny, shiny new episode of Burn Notice to watch! Later on, there will be baseball as the Mets play the Yankees! Eeeee!
