Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

..it's off to work I go.

Got a temp job for December, actually from next Monday to 4th January. It's back at Mundells, the HCC offices I was in last year, the ones I can walk to :) That's the only reason I've gone for it to be honest, because the hourly rate is a bit shit but because I won't be using the car, it'll stretch a lot further.

To be perfectly honest, if it had been an email offer, I probably would have ignored it but the nice lady at Manpower rang me and persisted. If I didn't like the Mundells one what about this one or that one or...! I didn't have any good reasons to turn this one down and the other two weren't local and one was a call centre *shudder* job that didn't start until January. And the hourly rate for that wasn't much better than this.

As far as I know, 'm working for the Fire Service, doing bog standard admin. *shrugs* Can't say it fills me with joy but I've had a spendy month and Christmas is coming up and, seriously, I'm getting far too fat and lazy. So we'll see how it goes.
