Dr Who - an ongoing review (currently showing on BBC3)

Squee! Taking the Mickey out of Agatha Christie! Brilliant!

Donna looks pretty good as a sflapper :)

OK, they're having waaaay too much fun. I've counted at least six blatant uses of titles of Agatha Christie novels so far, be interesting to see how long they keep that up :)

Well they've just rattled off 4 titles in one short 30 second scene so I guess they're not going to run out any time soon :)

Oh dear, the miming scene in the kitchen? They were smoking crack, weren't they? And I'm willing to bet there were lots of takes. Must watch the Confidential afterwards.

Dunno who's playing Christie but I like her.

Blimey, another two book titles in one speech.

Yay! The confrontation between the detective and the suspects!

*gigglefits* Beautifully over the top!

Hee, I love Felicity KendalL :)

*groans* "Murder at the Vicar's Rage" Good googly moogly.

Tied it all up very neatly :)

Hee I did enjoy that :) A good ol' dollop of fun. Hurrah!

AC was played by Fenella Woolgar, recently seen as the games mistress in "St Trinians".

Ahh, not heard of her, but she was good :) I can see her as a games mistress, no bother :D

So, did you like the ep?

She makes an excellent games mistress - the punishment that one girl receives for breaking a bust with her mobile phone (via the hockey stick) is to be co-opted onto the hockey team! (She had a running 'gag', which was cut from the final release, which was slightly sad.)

Yes, I did like the episode. It will probably make my top five of the season, giant wasps notwithstanding. I don't like wasps.

Well, Christie wrote, what, 80-odd books? I can imagine how much fun they would have trying to incorporate all of them into 1 episode

(And yes, I'm reading spoilers despite being 3 weeks behind here!)
