Guess the song

One of the first things I do when I get to work of a morning is move the lil' slider thing on my calendar over that day's date. And so I noticed it was the third of June. And promptly got this song stuck in my head for the rest of the day....

"It was the third of June, another sleepy, dusty Delta day"

Guess and then, if you're a pal, please help get the damn song out of my head! *sobs*
