Mystery plant - calling all my green-thumbed chums

PartyGirl finishes working in the office next week (so does ShitStirrer but that's a whole special post) and has spent this week packing up her stuff. We have two plants in the office that live by her desk, that she mostly looks after. One is Ruby the poinsetta, the other is Fluffy the plant. Sadly, PG has no idea what sort of plant Fluffy actually is and as I'm now in charge of making sure Fluffy is looked after, I thought I should try and find out. A broad overview pic is here - don't be fooled by the red leaves, those belong to Ruby :)

This is a close up of the leaves.
And this is a close up of the roots

So, oh flist, anyone have a clue what I'm dealing with here? I can tell you, in addition, that Fluffy doesn't need or like a lot of water and doesn't like to be in direct sunlight. Or at least, he seems to do better in a shady spot. And we have, at least once, seen a white flower grow on a seperate shoot, looked a bit like a lily in shape. Only happened the once though. Any ideas?

It's a Peace lily (Spathyphyllum wallisii). It likes bright to medium indirect light, being kept moist in summer and allowed to dry out in winter, and bring repotted every couple of years.
I was given one for my 18th by a school friend, and had it for many years before giving it to [livejournal.com profile] cuthbertcross' father (I think).
Feed it Baby Bio every couple of weeks in the growing season, and keep the leaves dusted for the best look.

Woo hoo! Thaaaank you :) So, given that we've never fed it or repotted it, it's doing rather well :P

If you're going to be at [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch's gardening party the weekend after next, bring it along and I'll polish the leaves.

Not sure if I'll be there yet, but I'll let you know! :) Thanks!
