Early bird
I was a diligent mousey and prised myself from under my warm, cosy duvet this morning to hie myself down to the doctor's surgery. For verily and forsooth, I needed a new sick note that basically says I can go back to work next week. And lo! I have one! Hurrah! So I'm all set to start a phased return to work from next Monday :)
Now I have to pretend to be enthusiastic about this :P I know I'll be all right when I'm back in the swing of things but it's going to be painful for a couple of weeks, just remembering the basics.
Annnnyway, I treated myself to a cheese and bacon puff from the bakery opposite the surgery, as a reward for crawling out in sub-zero temperatures. It was worth it though, I was first to see my doc, so I didn't have to wait long at all :) Now I'm shall coil around this hot mug of tea and thaw out for a bit before figuring out all the nothing I want to do today *grins*
