Tomorrow I take off for deepest, darkest Cornwall and a visit to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
halcyon_shift and doccy. I'm not saying this visit is overdue or anything, but in the last two years, I've seen New York native jenni411 five times and those two exactly once (and that was three weeks ago).
I am having minor irritations with the car, none of which is Pippa the Peugeot's fault, it's mine for being a disorganised idiot. Long story short, she didn't get through her MoT and needs to spend more time in the garage. I'm leaving her there tomorrow and will pick her up again Monday. The garage has a secure yard so she should be quite safe :) It does mean Monday is going to be a bit fraught as the car tax will have expired and I need to get to Borehamwood to stand any chance of getting her taxed PDQ (trust me, I can't go to a post office). Entirely self inflicted predicament but an annoying one. On the plus side, I have organised transport to work next week if I can't get things sorted Monday so it's not completely hopeless.
If I had a brain, I'd be dangerous *sighs*
I should be packing. I hate packing. Even when I'm going somewhere great, I STILL hate packing. *sighs, grumbles and trundles off to fling things into a rucksack*
Oh and on the offchance I don't post in here again in a timely fashion, a very Happy New Year to my flist! Hope 2010 is wonderful for you all :)
