Today I got to go on a site visit for the new job, to a fire station which happened to be having a meter installed this morning at a convenient time and wasn't too far from work.

There was time, in between peering at grey boxes, to have a quick nose about in the section of the fire station we were in.

Thus I can now legitimately say I've touched a fireman's pole....
