Squee!

Firefly DVDs have arrived! Mwahaahahahahahaaha!

An obsession a day keeps boredom at bay :) Which, I suppose, makes it a good thing [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll tormented me into buying the first box set DVDs for "Invisible Man". She so sneaky! You have to know me pretty well to understand why her last comment was so, well, sneaky, dammit!

In other news the kitchen radiator is not only still dripping, it's refusing to be turned off. Having turned the valves clockwise as far as I could, as all the info I'd seen instructed me to do, I was a bit distressed to find the radiator was still heating up. Wah. So today I turned everything back again and it's STILL heating up. Which means it's not cut off from the water supply. Buggerit. *glares at the pesky thing* Looks like I'll have to get expensive professional help. Bah!

Firefly. Sooooothe me, Firefly. Mmmm *purrs*

And the Firefly DVDs are extra good value as the commentaries are as much fun to watch (and rewatch) as the episodes themselves!

If you haven't seen it yet, may I recommend Sports Night as a new obsession? It only ran for two series but, as with the early cancelling of Firefly, this shouldn't be held against it. It's the series Aaron Sorkin made before The West Wing and is full of the same sharp, witty dialogue only this time set in a TV studio producing a sports show.

*points finger* Don't you start DVD pushing! I have enough trouble fending off [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll! *grins*

Actually, I've been eyeing the Sports Night stuff and it's on my list of "Stuff to get some day" I keep hearing good things about it from fellow West Wing fans :)
