-stolen without remorse from [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll

I don't think my flist is either large enough or watches enough of these shows for all of them to be guessed so I've included a few shows I haven't watched for ages but used to adore, which I think might give a wider range. :)

1. Post a list of say... 10 TV shows you watch
2. Have your friends list guess your favourite CHARACTER from each show
3. When guessed bold the line and write a sentence about why you like that character
4. Post in your own livejournal

1. Without A Trace
2. The West Wing (first 4 seasons only)
3. Firefly - [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll
It had to be Mal, he brings the snark in so many wonderful ways. I loved him for the moment in the pilot episode when he strode into the ship and blew the bad guy away without even pausing for breath. My hero :)
4. CSI - [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll
Nick Stokes. What can I say? He's a hunk! And he's not a kiss ass like Warrick or a whiny bitch like Sara :) Or a misery chops like Catherine. He needs better lines though, they keep giving them to Sara, Catherine or Gil :P
5. CSI:Miami - [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll
The name LD was groping for was Tim Speedle. Played by Rory Cochrane, who left the show and whose character was promptly killed off due to his own stupidity in an act of total vindictiveness. They've since tarnished his character's name in another episode, implying he missed evidence. Bah!! This was close, as I also like Calleigh Dusquene, played by Emily Proctor, who can also act and who is totally wasted on this show. She keeps me watching now Speedle (wah!) is gone.
6. Buffy (first 4 seasons only)
7. Law and Order: SVU
8. Babylon 5 - [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll
Oh Marcus! *sniffles* Ivanova gave you a darn good run for your money, but you just pipped her to the post. Mostly for the immortal line "Bugger! Now I've got to wait for someone to wake up." And the fact that I still sniffle at your death. *sniffles8
9. Mutant X
10. Xena:Warrior Princess - [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll
LD was close enough (it's Gabrielle, not Gabriel - back away from the Constantine download now...). I always liked the battling bard. And, oddly, Renee O'Connor is also the better actress of the two. I can't always claim to go for the better actor but it's not a bad rule of thumb :)

In other news, I sent an Mp3 of "Hey Mickey" by Toni Basil to [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll today. I am going to the special hell. And the revenge will probably be epic ;)

4. The younger guy that isn't Warwick.
5. Horatio's sunglasses. Or that other guy. The one who could act. The one they killed off.
6. Xander
7.
8. Marcus
9. Shalimar
10. Gabriel

5 out of 10 for you. Would have been six if you hadn't overthunked Mutant X :)

1: Without A Trace - I'm guessing A LaP for this one (who's character name completely escapes me at the moment). What can Ii say? He's my favourite character! There's a bit in season 1 (I think) where he says to Marianne Jean Baptiste (whose character I also can't remember) 'Who'd want a surly workaholic?' to which the chorus from me and the twinster is a resounding 'I would!'.

2. Hmm... first four seasons only... can't think of anyone who's in the first four seasons but not later. CJ and Toby are my favourite regular characters in TWW (my absolute favourite characher being Ron Butterfield the head of the Secret Service detail). I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess Leo on this one.

3. Mal is fab isn't he (especially when naked in Trash!)? It's gotta be Jayne for me though. I was an Adam Baldwin fan before Firefly and it's so good to see him get to play someone other than straight-faced military types. "So has this. I call her Vera."

4. CSI - Nick Stokes eh? Nah, too clean cut for me. Warwick every time... *grin*

5. CSI Miami - No way? Speed gets written out? But he's the best thing in the show! *wail* Shit, I've got to start watching TV more regularly. Why couldn't they have just got rid of David Caruso? Then the series would have been perfect! Especially if they transferred Gary Sinise in.

6. Spike? It's gotta be Spike. "I'd rather have syphillis than spend time with you." Such a charmer.

7. Law & Order: SVU - Munch? He's definitely my favourite, although Ice-T in a suit runs him a close second. I used to be a fan of Richard Belzer when he was a stand-up comedian and then from his days as Munch on Homicide: Life On The Street. I was so pleased when I discovered they'd transferred th entire character to L&O.

8. I always liked J'Kar, but only in season one when he was the noble warrior, after that it has to be Vir. Stephen Furst was just fab, especially in the later seasons.

9. & 10. Never watched either of these.

Have I recommended Sports Night to you yet? I reckon you'll love it. Remind me when we're next likely to cross paths and I'll lend you my DVDs if you like. :o)

1. Wrong, sorry :) Although he IS cute and I wouldn't kick him out, nuh-uh. I do wish they hadn't turned his wife into the bitch from hell though.

2. No, sorry again. Leo's never been my favourite guy. Having said that, I refuse to watch the current season because I hear what they've done to his character has been a travesty. Well, all of their characters really but...

5. I have most of Miami S3 downloaded now. If I ask LD nicely, she might tell me how to put them onto a cd or dvd or something, so you could watch 'em too :) And yes, what happened to Speedle sucks. But Gary Sinise? No way! He sucks in NYC, I'm sorry, but he does. A plank has more emotional range.

6. No, but he was a very close second :)

7. Munch? You like Munch?! He brings the snark, I'll concede, which is a good thing.

8. Vir kicked arse :) That scene between Vir and Lennier at the bar in one of the later seasons was priceless.

L: "Yes, a hell of a day."
V: "And a hell of a year."
L: "A hell of a 5 years."
V: "A hell of a life."
L: ".. You win."

Damn. It's getting harder to resist the DVDs...*twitches gently*

And yes, you've recommended Sports Night to me :) I'd love to borrow the DVDs, thanks! :)

Pah, you are clearly a woman of no taste. *grin*

BTW: Enrique Murciano (Danny from WaT) is in Miss Congeniality 2. Another reason to go see it. :o)

Forgot this before: my favourite Vir moment, and you'll have to excuse me if I'm mixing a couple of scenes up, I haven't seen B5 since it was on the telly first time around, is the bit when he's talking to the evil Shadows guy and tells him that one day he's going to see his head on a stick or something, and then gives a cheery wave.

So... wow. I watch nearly none of your shows! Here's my lonely guess. :)

6. Drusilla?

Oooh I'd forgotten her. heh. She was pretty cool, wasn't she? And played very well. But no, it's not the Bonnie of the Vampire world :)
