Some of you eat out in London a fair bit, so I need to pick your brains.

I'm arranging a gathering for Sunday in May for a mixed and sedate group of Brits, Canadians and Swedes :) International or what! *chuckles* After consulting with the group as to food preferences, I need a good recommendation for a Chinese restaurant, not tooooo pricey, somewhere central, i.e between Oxford Street and Covent Garden (this is to reduce navigational requirements for the tourists).

Anyone have anywhere they can suggest?

Oh, and for those at [livejournal.com profile] thalinoviel's b'day bash earlier this year, what was the name of the pub we went to after we'd eaten? The Ship? It was a pretty decent pub as I recall, I may use it as a meeting up point. Directions or suggestions for a better meeting place gratefully received :)

Please pass this around to anyone you know who knows where to go and could recommend somewhere. Thanks folks!

Ewww.

I don't think the words "eat out" and "brains" should be in the same sentence.

Spicy brains! We went a good place in Soho for [livejournal.com profile] itsjustaname's birthday: it specialised in set menus starting at about £10 a head for 3 or 4 courses including duck. I can't now remember it's name, but she probably does.

Sedate?!?!? Puh-leeze!

Have fun, though. *g*

Jenni, who knows this allegedly sedate group (mutters: sedate... ha...)

Hey, we are so sedate. When there are no Americans around, anyway.
