Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

For want of a nail, the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe, the horse was lost.
For want of a horse, the rider was lost.
For want of a rider, the battle was lost.
For want of a battle, the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horse shoe nail.

And for this reason among many, I went today and voted. I have no idea if it'll do any good, but it's going to do more good than not voting at all. It's like those lottery ads that point out you have a much more significant chance of winning if you actually play the game.

Besides, woman died to get me the vote. Many man protested and some died getting us the right to secret ballot. It seems churlish not to use the one means I have of making my feelings known.

Yay to all of you who voted today. Shame on you who didn't!
