Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! One of the better trailers out there. I'm really liking what I've seen of this so far. Yes, there will have to be huge chunks cut out of the book but that's fine by me, it was a book that needed pruning anyway. If the dragon part of the Tri Wizard Tournament is as stunning as it looks and if the CGI for the underwater sequences holds up (and it's looking good so far) then it's going to be stunning. Be interesting to see how they handle the end part of the book for the younger audiences. I would really like to see this go up a certificate ranking, if only because it makes sense given the darker progression of the story and in preparation for OotP.
Off out to London today to meet up with Canadian friends Patricia and Soren, and Katarina, who's over from Stockholm for the weekend. Rik and Carol will be in London too so a gathering has been plotted :) I'm just hoping we don't get snagged too badly by this free concert that's taking place in Trafalgar Square today - 15,000 people! Yikes! But we're up in Piccadilly and I'm hoping we'll have been and gone before 15,000 tired folks storm the Underground trying to get home.
