*stretches*

So I had exercise today - I drove over to the wilds of Essex and helped [livejournal.com profile] itsjustaname shift her gear. Well, to be more precise, I hauled the slightly less heavy stuff out of the van and dumped into [livejournal.com profile] itsjustaname and [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch's arms. No way can I handle heavy boxes and stairs these days, alas.

I didn't get lost finding the house, although I DID turn off the A12 too soon. However, I knew I'd done it and was easily able to work out how to get back on track (drive down road parallel to A12, pick up road I should have turned onto in the first place). Found the house easily, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] silenttex's excellent directions. Online maps are all very well but they don't give you landmarks you can easily spot :) There was some heavy-ish traffic on the M25 on the way there but I still got there in under an hour. Coming back I did the trip in 40 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully it'll be just as pleasant tomorrow when I return back to the wilds to be fed. I've been promised cake! Yay!!*

Done bugger all else today. Crashed out for a nap this afternoon and am now watching the Mets v. Dodgers on mlb.com. Go Mets!!

* - Yeh I'm easily pleased, s'true *sobs*

There will be cake and meringues and lemon mousse, so I've been told. Tea will be on tap, and the beef and red wine is smelling gorgeous about now. Mmm!

Thank you SO much for your help - again, you're a star.
