Dear gods, but Monday has sucked hard so far and reading my friends list, it appears to have had a ball at a number of my friends' expense.
Bah, I say! Bah!
I got all the shitty jobs at work today because there was no typing (which is what I'm nominally there to do). I love spending two hours in a filing room tracking down addresses and parental names for a mail shoot and then stuffing letters into the envelopes. No, I really do. Feh. I think my opinion of the social worker who brought in eight months of emails to be filed by Pauline needs to be left unsaid. I sorted through them, in order to give Pauline a fighting chance tomorrow, I found the stack contained vast amounts of duplicated emails or emails that had been repeatedly printed out with the "full history" option. Grrr.
I got soaked going out to get the milk, I got soaked a lunchtime coming home and I got soaked tonight when I went shopping *shakes soggy fist at sky* Damn you weather gods! I'll give you credit for not raining over the weekend, but neverthless, damn youoooou!
All in all, I'm glad to be home. I invite my flist to join me in imbibing booze and scoffing chocolate.

Poor Mitchy... I was up in London in the rain. Very atmospheric, and at least it kept the crowds down. Very conducive for wandering round the British Museum being all touristy, too. ;-)
