Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I haven't been paying attention to the news this week. I completely missed the announcement that Michael Piller, former executive producer of the Star Trek franchise, had died, aged 57. His work on Next Generation made it the show it was and his absence from the franchise when he quit was sorely missed (Enterprise would have been a much better show if he'd been on it, let me tell you).
