mitchy at 11:53pm on 09/01/2006Well for a Monday, that went quite well. Work was just busy enough to make the day go fast, but not so busy I was stressed or rushed. Scampered into town at lunchtime and foolishly went into Smith's. Folks - their Half Price DVD sale is evil. EVIL I SAY! OK, some of the stuff I got is earmarked as presents but still..........
Got two light days coming up, so that's good. Half day off tomorrow afternoon, which will be spent firstly having lunch with Pauline, ex-colleague at the Family Placement Unit, and then scampering into London for booze and food with Rik and Carol, for 'tis Rik's birthday, hurrah! We're going to Belgo's, because both Rik and I want to try the fruit beers in more...detail *snickers* Mmm banana beer.
Wisely, I have booked Wednesday morning off for a bit of a lie in. *cackles*
