1. You're a random agent anyway, tough to get more random than that! Umm, ok, you have ridiculously big feet....(there's a rude joke in there but I'll leave it be...)

4. Your passion for films
5. *giggles* You being annoying in the Nest

7. What was the first film you watched that made you think "Yeh! I can make those!"?

[identity profile] random-agent.livejournal.com 2006-05-11 03:55 pm (UTC)(link)
7. There wasn't one. I first became obsessed with films as a viewer, and was quite the elitist scum. This didn't last very long, and I began to relax a bit and respect any film that accomplishes its objective, not just the lofty ones (though the lofty ones were, and still are, my favourites). It was actually picking up a camera on the first media course that I attended that made me think, "You know what? This is me." We made a trailer for a horror film we invented and a really weird mockurockumentary. And that was it. I began researching the technical aspect of filmmaking myself, reading tonnes of screenplays and watching films in a completely new way, and with every year that passes I gain a better understanding of the medium.

7. What draws you to mysteries above all other genres?

[identity profile] annuala.livejournal.com 2006-05-10 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. And I'm pasty-white the whole year round, too! :-p

Why mysteries? I don't know. Mostly the sense of order from chaos, I think, though that doesn't explain my attraction to Ken Bruen, where you just get more chaos. It might be the structure--there's a structure to mysteries that you don't find in other genres.

And now I shall post the meme forthwith.

To answer the last question....the best thing about living here is no traffic and low taxes and proximity to Pittsburgh. I guess that is three things!

7. What did you want to grow up to be when you were little?

A fighter pilot. This dream was sadly squished by school teachers who informed me that I couldn't be one because I was a girl. Nobody felt the need to mention that having epilepsy and needing glasses would also prove to be a problem.
