So apart from the unmitigated joy of obtaining The World's Comfiest Sofa (tm), I had a very good weekend. Saturday morning saw me visiting ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thalinoviel to take her shopping at Brent Cross, where she was unleashed on the Haberdashery department of John Lewis, gift vouchers clunched in hand.
Dear gods, that girl can shop for beads ;)
Having prised her away at last, after a lenghty debate about exactly how much over budget she was willing to go and what goodies could be sacrificed (an agonising choice!) , we adjourned to JL's restaurant, which has been very nicely fitted out. There's six different counters, all serving different types of food. However, just by luck, the one nearest the entrance was the cake counter *big grin* So there was tea all round, plus a large slab of delicious marmalade cake for me and a slice of equally delicious blackberry cheesecake forthalinoviel. Yum!
We then went and attacked HMV ruthlessly. I happily discovered that whereas the Boxed Set of the three Clint Eastwood "Man With No Name" movies is around £40+, the three movies individually could be purchased for the "3 for £20" dealy that HMV are offering. How tragic, I thought, how sad! Heh heh heh.thalinoviel once again went through the "Do I really need this CD? Do I really, really need this cd?" thing before buying (I think) a couple of cds.
Triumphantly we head home, where I had to make a hasty departure because I was supposed to be back home for 4pm in order to take part in a role playing scene. I made it but the ST didnt, which was annoying as I'd rather not have rushed back from what was a very pleasurable afternoon's shopping. Oh well.
Sunday I did bugger all, except occasional RP and idle watching of the football.
Today was OK. A typical Meh Monday - not too busy, not so interesting it was a good day.

In the short term it's very amusing to watch, but I usually take pity and open the door a smidge wider for him, after I've had a good giggle :) *leans over and scritches the furball*
