She says it's clean now so if it was gunking, then better out than in and it looks like it's healing dry. She's put a temporary dressing on it and will call back tomorrow with a more absorbent dressing to put over it.
No stitches needed, hurrah! :)
Been really sluggish today, guess it's just one of those days. Foghorn came by a little while ago with some shopping so I've just had a delicious chicken sarnie and some ready salted crisps. Have I mentioned I've been advised to eat a packet of crisps a day, to replace the extra salt I'll be losing now? Oh, woe is me, my life is so hard *snickers*
In a little while I'll prise myself off the sofa and make tea. That'll perk me up, hopefully :)
