Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I was so tired today that I asked if I could leave work an hour early. I must have looked as tired as a I felt, because Foghorn took one look at me and not only agreed an early finish today but suggested I do only 4 hours tomorrow. It's not from lack of sleep, I've been sleeping like the dead since I went back to work, so I can only assume it's taking me longer to adjust to work than I thought.

It's the work's Christmas Quiz night tonight and I want to go, so am wandering off for a nap to recuperate. Hopefully that'll perk me right up :) The quiz should be lots of fun, there's going to be a buffet and a raffle and there's a bar (although we have to pay for the drinks, they're not that generous :)). I'm mildly intimidated by the fact that I'm the only non-manager in my team but hopefully it'll work out all right.

Anyway, now *poses* to the bat duvet! *thud snore*

OK, we didn't win the quiz, but we didn't come last either! We came equal seventh out of 10 teams :) BUT! I won a raffle prize! It was one of those "choose your own prize" deals, and I got called early enough there was a good choice. So I'm now the proud owner of a giant slab of Dairy Milk chocolate :D

And the quiz was oodles of fun, so huzzah!

And in other news, 803am has succumbed and fallen in love with Leverage. Apparently it's all my fault. Muwahahahahah! And what does she give me in return? Merlin! Feh! I am definitely not doing well out of this deal :P
