Oh boy. Prepare to lose whole hours of your life:-

http://shygypsy.com/farm/p.cgi

This is basically a word association game but it's a bit more complex than that. Take this opening window. It's in the centre of a map (see top left). The theme is "on the farm". So start the quiz by guessing what things are found on or are associated with a farm. As you get towards the edges of each square, the words are linked not just to the theme of the map square you're in, but the map square next to it. Guessing the words on the edges "unlocks" the next map square. The idea is to unlock the whole map, guess all the words and solve the meta-puzzle, the clues for which are in the four corner squares.

There's a hints section, which you can get to by clicking on the tiny, tiny word "hints" at the top right corner of the window.

I've been doing this two days and it's driving me nuts already :D Friends are actively encouraged to help each other and give hints, so off you go, and yell when you need a hint or so. (For instance, I'm more than happy to give help on the baseball section of the map :D)

Don't be afraid to Google - it's practically a necessity for some of the stuff. Plus it is US-centric.

Have lots of fun!

Woohoo! Magicians.

With the word I used to get on there, I'm stumped...

Think famous US magicians :) There's at least one double act on there.

My limit is Penn and Teller, and that bloke who flew over the grand canyon.

Oh, that idiot!

Got any clues for magicians performing at rodeos? My google-fu is weak.

*grins* Not the name of a magician. The connection is a bit tenuous, I only got it by luck. You don't want magicians, this is another category of entertainer that works at rodeos..........(and the answer gives you the box above it....)

Adelpha=a he :)

And ok, *ponders* farm page. Well have you tried all the animals you can think of? What about people and buildings? The words off the animals are a bit more lateral thinking, especially for cow. Hint: cow has 3 letters, so do a number of the words in the boxes leading off of it. try some well know phrases :)
