Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

Aunty Eve phoned me early this morning to tell me she wasn't very well - bad reaction to some antibiotics - and that she wasn't up to a shopping trip. Initially I was still going to visit but she kept adding riders, like the weather forecast was awful (which it was), so in the end we agreed I'd go next week instead. I'll ring her tomorrow and New Year's Day and make sure she's OK and if I'm in the least bit unconvinced, I'll go and visit her at once. Otherwise, I'll go and see her next Saturday, come hell or high water.

I wasn't too sorry not to have to travel today and in fact, I've spent most of today either asleep in bed or snoozing over the 'pooter. Really didn't get going at all so the lack of driving and stuff probably wasn't a bad thing. *yawns* And now I'm pondering an early night, via a hot bath. Mmm, yes, the more I think about it, the nicer it sounds :)
