Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I've been watching a lot of Law and Order (the parent show) lately - Hallmark are showing subtitled episodes every night at 9pm - and I'd forgotten how good the show is. Or was, I should say, as I've not watched the latter few series at all. Currently, they're showing Series 11, most of which I've not seen. Damn, but Jerry Orbach was a loss. He owned the character of Lennie Briscoe. My sense is that the show's not been the same without him. I've only caught a couple of episodes with his replacement and was distinctly underwhelmed.

Anyway, this is a long way around of saying I must win the lottery so I can start buying the DVDs. I used to love the show with Chris Noth and even with the ex-Mrs Julie Roberts but mostly, I gotta get them for Jerry Orbach.
